As you know many times you may buy an unlock code via imei for your htc phone and then when you try to enter the code the phone does not accept this.
For such phones where other unlock solutions did not exist the best method to unlock them has always been the Rebel Simcard II which allows use of any network sim with full 3G Supported.
But now for those same phones that could not be unlocked due to the networks who sold them changed the codes and even installed thier own custom ROMS which restricted the entry of the unlock codes unless they were first flashed with generic ROM firmware that has no operator branding.
However all this is old news now as the Rebel XTC Clip can unlock these android phones that before could not be unlocked.
